I would like to get all of our members to be able to host. Unfortunatly, i do not have the time to help everyone, as i want to get some games played, so i have decided to help everyone at once. If you cannot host and would like to, here are a few things you might want to know: www.blizzard.com/support/?id=msi0423p Here are the ports you will need to add to exceptions: [glow=red,2,300] 6112 TCP 6112 UDP 4000[/glow] You also need to add the program of [glow=red,2,300] Warcraft III[/glow] itself if u can. Most of you have Windows Firewall, and dont already have the necessary ports added in order to host. Here is how to add those ports as exceptions to windows firewall: www.dslwebserver.com/main/fr_index.html?/main/sbs-windows-xp-sp2-firewall.html If you have Norton Anti-Virus/Internet Security, here is how to add the necessary ports to the exception list:
www.symantec.com/techsupp/tutorial/scs_3/adding_port_exceptions_win_icf.htm If you have a router, go to this website. You will need to go to the routers section, pick your router from the list, then find Warcraft III from the list and it will show u what to do from there. DO NOT worry about the static ip stuff it tells you; just skip it:
www.portforward.com If after all of this you still cannot host, or you have any information you can add to this, please EMAIL ME if this is the situation, so that i can make a follow up. [glow=red,2,300] **EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY FURTHER COMMENTS/QUESTIONS PLEASE!![/glow]

I had the hosting problem and the only thing you should do to get it to work is opening up ports from 6112 to 6119 TCP AND UDP. Works fine for me now.
